TEST PROCEDURE FOR SLOW FUEL SOLENOID:
DESCRIPTION
A test procedure has been established for GLC and 626 slow fuel cut solenoids. Use an ohmmeter as shown to test the solenoids.

TEST PROCEDURE
1. Ambient Temperature Test
Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve at room temperature:
1 - 50* ohms Good - Proceed to Hot Test
0 or over 50 ohms* No Good
2. Hot Test Heat the Solenoid to approximately 200~F (93~C) with a heat gun or equivalent.
Measure the resistance:
1 - 50 ohms* Good
0 or over 50 ohms* No Good
