A procedure is available for replacing the door mirror glass for the above vehicles.

DOOR MIRROR GLASS ASSEMBLY:

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Use a heat gun to apply heat to the mirror surface in order to soften the adhesive that retains the mirror glass.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the mirror body from the vehicle.

2. At the same time, apply heat to the edge of the plastic so as to expand the plastic that holds the mirror in place.

3. Use a screwdriver or pocket knife to remove tile mirror glass.. While keeping the mirror body warm, insert a new glass and press firmly in place.
