DESCRIPTION


In order to further improve driveability, in Federal areas (except high altitude areas), two new service parts have been established.

If the vehicle was repaired as per Service Bulletins, No. 004/84 (1983-1984 626) and 012/85 (1983-1985 626) both Cat. 4, and the customer still is not satisfied, please install the newly established parts.

REPAIR PROCEDURES

1. Replace Primary Main Air Bleed #60

Remove the air cleaner and air horn from the carburetor main body. Replace the primary main air bleed (#50) with the modified one (#60). Use the new gasket, O-ring etc. included in the kit.

Float Level:




2. Check the float level and adjust as necessary.

Float Level:

1983-1985 626, 11.5 mm

Float level should be between the center and upper limit of the notch in the sight glass as shown. If not re-adjust.

Installing EGR Gasket:




3. Installing EGR Gasket (P/N: FE01 20 305)

Install the EGR gasket between the intake manifold and the EGR control valve.

NOTE:
Sealant is unnecessary for the EGR gasket, as sealant is already applied.
