II. Repair Procedures

1. Head Gasket Replacement

Refer to the related Workshop Manual for the head gasket replacement. When the head gasket is replaced with a modified one (P/N RF03-10-271D) under the Program, the head bolts also have to be replaced with modified ones (P/N RFYA-10-135)

NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the thread of the bolt and bolt seat.

2. Cylinder Head Replacement and/or Engine Overhaul

Prolonged driving with oil leakage may result in damage to other engine parts. Therefore, in a case involving cylinder head replacement and/or engine overhaul, you are requested to contact your DSM (DSPM) for authorization.
