DESCRIPTION

The configuration of the synchronizer keys on the fifth and reverse gear clutch hub have been changed in order to provide a smoother shift into fifth gear at high speed.

When assembling the clutch hub for fifth and reverse gear, the larger end of the synchronizer key must face the lock nut.
NOTE:
Larger end must face lock nut.

Synchronizer Keys Configuration:




NOTE:
The synchronizer keys for the first and second gear clutch hub have a different configuration than those for the third and fourth gear clutch hub. In order to prevent incorrect assembly, the configuration of all three types of synchronizer keys are shown below.
