Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arm attaching bolts and the wiper arms.
3. On all models except B2000 and 1984-85 GLC, remove cowl plate attaching screws. Move front side of cowl plate up and disconnect washer hose from nozzle, if necessary, then remove the cowl plate.
4. On 1984-85 GLC models, remove wiper motor access cover from engine compartment.
5. On 1987 B2200 and B2600 models, remove seal cover attaching bolts, then the seal cover.
6. On all models, disconnect electrical connector from motor.
7. Remove wiper motor attaching bolts and the wiper motor.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
