Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Idle switch adjustment is not necessary unless it has been tampered with or replaced.
1. Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature and stop the engine.
2. Connect a tachometer.
3. Disconnect the connector for the slow fuel cut control solenoid valve Fig. 29.
4. Apply battery power to the A terminal of the connector (Carburetor side).
5. Ground the B terminal of the connector (Carburetor side).

6. Connect an ohmmeter between the C terminal for the idle switch and ground Fig. 30.

7. Start the engine and take the reading of the ohmmeter Fig. 31.

8. If the readings do not agree with the specifications, turn the adjusting screw Fig. 32.
