1. Disconnect connector from throttle sensor and connect ohmmeter to center and bottom terminals (TL & IDL).
2. Insert .02 inch thickness gage between throttle stop screw and stop lever Fig. 21.
3. Loosen two throttle sensor attaching screws.

4. Rotate throttle position sensor clockwise approximately 30°, then rotate it back counterclockwise until continuity exist Fig. 23.

5. Replace thickness gage with .027 inch gage and ensure continuity does not exist Fig. 22. If continuity exist, repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Tighten two attaching screws. Be careful not to move throttle sensor from set position when tightening screws.
7. Open throttle valve fully a few times, then recheck adjustment.
