Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the gauge unit.

Water Temperature Gauge Unit Test:

2. Place the gauge unit in a container of water, and heat the water to 80°C (176°F).
3. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance.

Resistance: 49.3-57.7 Ohms

If not within specifications, replace the sender.
