DESCRIPTION

1986 vehicles have the following transmission lubricants and fluids installed at the factory.. During routine scheduled service and repairs, always add the specified lubricant or fluid.

Please make these corrections to your Workshop Manuals on the pages listed on the self-adhesive labels. These labels are to be placed over the existing Workshop Manual page number so that the technician can refer to this Service Bulletin.
* NOTE:

^ ATF is recommended for 323 and 626 MTX vehicles in all areas of the North American market to prevent hard shift in cold temperatures.

^ 80W-90 or 90 gear oil is recommended only as a countermeasure for gear rattle noise in neutral with the clutch engaged and only for vehicles in areas where the coldest temperature is above -18~C (0~F).
