Repair Procedures

HOSE PROTECTOR LOCATION:

1. Remove the hose protector from the vacuum tubes (retain for later use, pay attention not to damage it).

2. Remove the original green vacuum tube and discard it. Install the new brown vacuum tube. Then, remove the original brown vacuum tube and discard it. Now install the new green vacuum tube.

Colored Vacuum Tubes Connected To Corresponding Fitting:

NOTE:
Check the color of the labels on the No. 3 purge control valve and make sure that the colored vacuum tubes are connected to the corresponding fitting.

Hose Protector On The Vacuum Tube:

3. Wind the hose protector (removed in Step 1) on the vacuum tubes as shown.

Authorized Modification Label:

4. Fill out the recall label with the dealer code and the repair date, and affix it on the passenger side's B pillar as shown.
