Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove water thermo sensor.
2. Place water thermo sensor in water with thermometer and heat up water gradually.
3. Check resistance across sensor terminals. Resistance should be 16.2 ± 1.62k ohms at (-)4°F, 2.45 ± .24k ohms at 68°F and .32 ± .032 ohms at 176°F.
