Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

1. Attach preload attachment 490180510B or equivalent onto the ball stud.
2. Using a suitable scale, measure preload by pulling on scale handle and while ball stud is rotating. Scale reading obtained should be 1.1-2.6 lbs. Measure preload after shaking ball joint stud 3 or 4 times.
