DESCRIPTION
On some 1986-1987 626 Turbo vehicles, the engine cranks, but will not start especially at hot restarting. This may be caused by increasing resistance at the B-19 connector due to heat and vibration.
To correct this failure, please carry out the following repair.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the B-19 connector.
2. Remove the pin connectors of Y, W, YG and W from the B-19 connector as shown in the illustration.
3. Reconnect the pin connectors and solder with a soldering iron. Insulate them by taping.
4. Plug the four vacant holes of the B-19 connector with silicone sealant for corrosion protection.
5. Reinstall the B-19 connector to the engine side bracket.
