DESCRIPTION

To reduce the shift shock and/or chatter from D1 to D2, the valve body has been modified since December, 1986. However, it has also been found that an incorrect ATF level may affect these conditions.



REPAIR PROCEDURE

[Oil Level Up]
1. Warm up the engine for about 5-10 minutes (oil temperature arrives at 149~F) and then measure the oil level.
2. With the oil temperature at 149~F (65~C), the oil level should be 0.47-0.63 in. above the "F" level, with engine running in "P" range.
