Vehicle Does Not Move In Forward Ranges

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Incorrectly adjusted gear selector linkage.
3. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
4. Engine stall speed too high or too low.
5. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
6. Malfunction valve body control valve.
7. Perform transmission air check.
8. Defective forward clutch.
9. Defective one way clutch 1.
10. Defective one way clutch 2.
11. defective low and reverse brake.
12. Problem in hydraulic circuit.

Vehicle Does Not Move In R Range

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Incorrectly adjusted gear selector linkage.
3. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
4. Engine stall speed too high or too low.
5. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
6. Malfunction valve body control valve.
7. Perform transmission air check.
8. Defective reverse clutch.
9. Defective low and reverse brake.
10. Problem in hydraulic circuit.

Excessive Creep

1. Engine mechanical problem.
2. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.

No Creep At All

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Incorrectly adjusted gear selector linkage.
3. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
4. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
5. Defective oil pump.
6. Defective forward clutch.
7. Defective reverse clutch.
8. Problem in hydraulic circuit.

Does Not Shift From 1 To 2

1. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
2. 2-4 band servo incorrectly adjusted.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Perform transmission air check.
5. Defective 2-4 brake band.

Does Not Shift From 2 To 3

1. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
2. 2-4 band servo incorrectly adjusted.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Perform transmission air check.
5. Defective 3-4 clutch.
6. Defective one way clutch 2.
7. Defective 2-4 brake band.

Excessive N To D Shift Shock

1. Engine mechanical problem.
2. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Defective N-D accumulator.
5. Defective forward clutch.

Excessive N To R Shifting Shock

1. Engine mechanical problem.
2. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Defective N-R accumulator.
5. Defective reverse clutch.

Excessive 1 To 2 Shift Shock

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Throttle valve cable worn or incorrectly adjusted.
3. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
4. Incorrectly adjusted 2-4 band servo.
5. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
6. Defective 1-2 accumulator.
7. Defective 2-4 brake band.

Excessive 2 To 3 Shift Shock

1. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
2. Incorrectly adjusted 2-4 band servo.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Defective 2-3 accumulator.
5. Defective 3-4 clutch.

Excessive 3 To 4 Shift Shock

1. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
2. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
3. Defective coasting clutch.
4. Defective 3-4 clutch.

Vehicle Braked When Shifting From 3 To 4

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Incorrectly adjusted 2-4 band servo.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Perform transmission air check.
5. Defective coasting clutch.
6. Defective one way clutch 1.
7. defective 2-4 brake band.

Transmission Noisy In P Or N

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
3. Defective oil pump.

Transmission Noisy In D, 2 & 1

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
3. Defective forward clutch.
4. Defective one way clutch 1.
5. Defective oil pump.
6. Defective planetary gear.

No Engine Braking Effect In 1, 2 & D3

1. Line and/or throttle pressure too high or too low.
2. Incorrectly adjusted 2-4 band servo.
3. Malfunctioning valve body control valve.
4. Defective coasting clutch.
5. Defective low and reverse brake.
6. Problem in hydraulic circuit.

Vehicle Moves In P, Or Parking Gear Not Disengaged When P Is disengaged

1. Incorrectly adjusted gear selector linkage.
2. Worn or incorrectly adjusted parking brake.

Transmission Overheats

1. Fluid level too low or fluid contaminated.
2. Incorrectly adjusted 2-4 band servo.
3. Engine stall speed too high or too low.
