    Power Steering Fluid
      Check fluid level and condition.

      Verify system operation.
    Idle Speed
      Inspect and adjust if necessary. Check dashpot and throttle opener with A/C for binding.

      Check for debris and damage.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Check for leaks. Tighten hose clamps and fittings as needed.

      Check for cracks, wear and fluid contamination. Adjust tension if necessary.

      Check radiator, hoses and water pump for leaks and damage.
    Coolant Level Sensor
      Verify system operation.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      1988-1991 vehicles. Check boots for leaks and damage.
    Clutch, M/T
      Check fluid level and freeplay.
    Choke Housing
      Inspect for proper operation.
Replace
    Spark Plug
      Replace with correct type and gap according to manufacturers specification.
    Oil Filter, Engine
       Change oil filter every other oil change.
    Fuel Filter
      1987 vehicles. Replace filter, check for leaks.
    Fluid - M/T
      1987 vehicles. Change lubricant, check for leaks.
    Fluid - Differential
      1987 vehicles. Change fluid, check for leaks.
    Engine Oil
      Or every 7.5 months, whichever occurs first.
    Coolant
      Flush system, replace coolant. Check specific gravity for freezing point.
    Brake Fluid
      Flush and bleed system. Check for leaks. 1987 vehicles, also check power brake unit and hoses.
    Air Filter Element
      Extremely dusty conditions may require more frequent service of this component.
