DESCRIPTION

A "SCAN" button is provided on ETRs installed in 1986-87 RX-7, 626, 323, 1986-87 B2000, 1987 B2200 and B2600 models. This button operates as follows:

^ Press either arrowhead on the scan button to automatically sample strong stations in the area where the vehicle is being driven.

1. Pressing the "up" arrowhead will scan increasingly higher station numbers.

2.. Pressing the "down" arrowhead will scan in the opposite direction.

^ Either scan direction will go as high or low as the range of stations on the band and then begin again.

^ Scanning stops about 5 seconds at each station. During this 5-second period, the station can be held (and scan cancelled) by pushing the same up or down arrowhead that began the scan.
