REAR SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY:

TIGHTENING TORQUE:

DESCRIPTION

The following modifications have been made to prevent a clicking noise or metallic noise from the rear suspension during a sudden acceleration from a stop.

1. A washer has been newly installed between the stopper washer and the sub-frame nut.
2. The side-frame bolt has been lengthened.
3. The tightening torque for the sub-frame nut has been changed.

NOTE:
For vehicles produced prior to the VIN shown below, tighten the sub-frame nut to the specification shown on Service Bulletin, Category 13, 004/86 (116-130 ft.lbs.).
