      Use graphite lock lubricant.
    Doors
      Lubricate door, trunk and hood hinges.
Check
    Spark Plug
      Except California. Inspect condition and gap, regap if necessary.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Check fluid level. Inspect lines, hoses, master cylinder, and calipers for wear, leaks and damage.
    Brake Pad
      Check pads for wear.
Tighten/Torque
    Body and Frame
      1987 vehicles. Check torque of body/chassis nuts and bolts.
Inspect
    Steering
      1987 vehicles. Check linkages and boots. Check for proper operation.
    Power Steering Fluid
      Check fluid level and condition.
    Oil Level Warning Indicator
      Verify system operation.
    Idle Speed
      Inspect and adjust if necessary. Check dashpot and throttle opener with A/C for binding.
    Cooling System
      Check radiator, hoses and water pump for leaks and damage.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      Check boots for leaks and damage.

      Check fluid level and freeplay.

      Inspect for proper operation.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
       Replace every 5 months or 5000 miles.
    Engine Oil
      Turbo engines. Replace oil every 5 months or 5000 miles.
