A no engine braking condition may be caused by the wrong N/D accumulator installed into the valve body (figure 1).





If a plastic accumulator is used in place of an aluminum accumulator, all coast clutch apply pressure will be vented out of the valve body. Always use the aluminum accumulator (figure 2).
