The electronically controlled suspension system used on 1988 626 & MX-6 models, Fig. 5, incorporates a control unit that has a self-diagnosis function detecting the unit itself, electrical components of system and wiring harness open circuit. When the control unit detects malfunctions, it output information through the A terminal of the service connection.
