Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

1. Cancel memory of malfunctions by disconnecting negative battery cable and depressing brake pedal for at least 5 seconds, then reconnect negative battery cable.
2. Connect system tester to green, 6 pin check connector.
3. Ground green, 1 pin test connector with a jumper wire.
4. Turn ignition switch to On position, but do not start engine for 6 seconds.
5. Start and warm up engine, then run at 2000 RPM for 2 minutes.
6. Ensure no code numbers are displayed.
