Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect water thermo sensor connector.
2. Connect ohmmeter to sensor terminals.
3. Check resistance of sensor. There should be 14.6-17.8k ohms at (-)4°F, 2.2-2.7k ohms at 68°F, 1-1.3k ohms at 104°F, .5-.65k ohms at 140°F and .29-.354k ohms at 176°F.
