Vehicle Damage Warnings

WARNING:

1. When servicing the turbocharger system observe the following precautions:
a. To prevent serious personal injury allow exhaust system components to cool before attempting service procedures.
b. Disconnect the battery ground cable before performing service procedures.
c. To prevent cracking do not mark exhaust system components with pencil, crayon, or permanent marker - use white chalk only.
d. Fastener torque is critical on high temperature components - use a torque wrench.
e. Do not allow foreign contaminants to enter the turbocharger oil passages while performing service procedures.
f. Always use new fasteners, locking tabs, and gaskets.
