Brake Light Switch


Checking Terminal Voltage

1. Turn ignition switch to On position.
2. Check voltage between terminal (white/green stripe) and ground while depressing brake pedal. There should be less than 1.5 volts when pedal is released and approximately 12 volts when pedal is depressed.
3. If voltage is not as described, check continuity of switch.

Checking Continuity

1. Disconnect brake light switch connector.
2. Check for continuity between terminals while depressing brake pedal.
