Compressor Assembly

NOTE: Change motor oil at regular intervals to maintain peak performance and prevent wear and oil leakage. The following are some quick visual checks.

TURBINE ROTOR ASSEMBLY

1. With engine fully cooled, remove air funnel.
2. Check that rotor assembly turns smoothly.
3. Replace turbocharger if excessive load or noise exists.

COMPRESSOR WHEEL DEFLECTION

1. With engine fully cooled, remove air funnel.
2. Inspect wheel for contact with compressor housing.
3. Replace turbocharger if wheel contacts housing.
