Transmission Case Components

Disassemble in the sequence shown in the image.




HOUSING PARTS




Extension Housing
1. Remove the cap bolt, spring and lock ball.
2. Remove the cover, spring and select lock spindle.
3. Remove the control case cover.




4. Shift the transmission into 1st gear.
5. Remove the extension housing attaching bolts.
6. Remove the bolt attaching the control rod end to the control rod. Do not remove the control rod end.
7. Turn the control rod in the direction of the arrow and remove the extension housing.




Transmission Case
Remove the transmission case from the intermediate housing and gear assembly using the mainshaft pusher (49 0305 430).
