FUEL TANK COMPONENTS


AIR BYPASS VALVE
On the intake air hose between the turbocharger and air cleaner.

BY-PASS AIR CONTROL (BAC) VALVE
Mounted to the R.F. strut tower in the engine compartment.

DASHPOT
Mounted on the throttle body.

FUEL FILTER
On the center of the firewall, behind the engine.

FUEL INJECTORS
Mounted on the intake manifold near the cylinder head, secured by the fuel rail.

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
Mounted on the end of the fuel rail (delivery pipe).

FUEL PUMP
Located in the fuel tank.

FUEL PUMP RELAY (CIRCUIT OPEN RELAY)
Located under the dashboard, in the center console.

FUEL RAIL (DELIVERY PIPE)
On the intake manifold, between the cylinder head and the intake manifold dynamic chamber.

FUEL TRANSFER PUMP (4-WHEEL DRIVE MODELS ONLY)
Under the car, mounted just ahead of the fuel tank, concealed by a protective metal box (bracket).

FUEL TRANSFER PUMP CONTROL UNIT
Under the drivers seat.

INTERCOOLER
Next to the radiator, in the right front of the engine compartment.

THROTTLE BODY
Mounted on the intake manifold dynamic chamber.

TURBOCHARGER
Mounted on the exhaust manifold.

WASTEGATE
Integrated into the turbocharger housing.
