Clutch System Bleed

During the bleed procedure, it is important that the fluid in the reservoir of the master cylinder be kept at a 3/4 level or higher.
1. Remove clutch release cylinder cover, Fig. 2.
2. Remove bleeder cap and attach a vinyl hose to bleeder plug.
3. Place opposite end of vinyl hose into a clear container.
4. Slowly pump clutch pedal several times, then apply constant pressure to clutch pedal.
5. With clutch pedal depressed, loosen bleeder screw to let fluid and air escape.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until there are no more air bubbles in fluid.
7. Torque bleeder plug to specifications.
