Memory Cancel
Failures are contained in the control unit memory. They are not erased when the battery is disconnected.One failure memory is erased each time this procedure is performed. The memory has a capacity for storing 32 failures.
1. Connect terminal wires GR and GB of the check connector with a jumper wire.
2. Turn ignition switch to the On position, ensure warning light is illuminated.
3. Wait one to two seconds, then turn ignition switch to the Off position.
4. Disconnect jumper wire from terminal GR, start engine, then wait for check engine light to go off.
5. If warning light illuminates or blinks, read and note diagnosis indication, then repeat steps 2 through 4.
6. Turn ignition switch to the Off position, then remove jumper wire.
