DESCRIPTION

There is a possibility that the engine harness is incorrectly clamped by the bracket at the right front suspension tower. This will cause the bracket to directly contact the wiring harness, resulting in an electrical short which may cause rough idle or no start.

You are requested to check and/or repair any RX-7 vehicle in inventory or at any service. Inspection and repair procedures are listed in this Service Bulletin.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Open the hood and inspect the condition of the wiring harness and bracket as shown in the illustration on page 2 of 2. If necessary, bend the clip to correct the position of the wiring harness.
