Fuel System Priming

After releasing the fuel pressure for repairs or inspection, the system must be primed to avoid excessive cranking when first starting the engine. To prime fuel system, proceed as follows:
1. On 1989-91 models, connect the terminals of the test connector (yellow: 2-pin) located in the engine compartment with a jumper wire.
2. On 1992 models, connect the diagnosis connector terminals F/P and GND with a jumper wire as shown in Fig. 2.
3. On all models, turn ignition switch to the On position for approximately ten seconds and check for fuel leakage.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the Off position, then remove jumper wire.
