Trailing Arm: Service and Repair

1. Raise ans support vehicle and remove rear wheel.
2. Remove stabilizer bracket and disconnect propeller shaft.
3. Disconnect shock absorber.
4. Loosen but do not remove stop washer bolts, then support subframe with jack and remove stop washer bolts and stop washers and lower jack to remove subframe.
5. Remove trailing arm from rear hub support and subframe.
6. Reverse procedure to install, torquing nuts and bolts as follows to specification:
a. Lower shock absorber bolt.
b. Propeller shaft attaching nuts.
c. Stop washer attaching bolts and nuts.
d. Trailing arm attaching bolts and nuts.
e. Rear stabilizer bracket attaching bolts.
