DESCRIPTION

Some 1990-'91 929S models may be difficult to start during the first start-up of the day. This is most likely to occur if the ambient air temperature is greater than 95~F (35~C). If your customer complains of difficult starting under these conditions, replace the Cold Start Thermo-Switch with a new one.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





Replace the old Cold Start Thermo-Switch (8574 18 870) with one from the new parts inventory (JE27 18 870).
