This transmission consists of a torque converter, oil pump, three clutches, three brakes, two one-way clutches, two planetary gears, sensing rotor and turbine sensor, Fig. 2. The electronic system is composed of three sensors and five switches which provide input data. The hydraulic system is composed of three shift valves, five switching valves, six pressure regulating valves and three accumulators. This system controls operation of the powertrain by way of the manual valve, the five solenoid valves are controlled by the electronic system, and intake manifold vacuum.
