DESCRIPTION

Some parts of the front bumper face ripple as a result of engine heat or direct sunlight. In order to prevent the bumper face from deforming, two (2) clips have been installed to the bumper since October 14, 1989 production.

You are requested to install two (2) clips to all 323/Protege vehicles that are in stock or in for service, provided they are not equipped with these clips already.

NOTE:
Ten (10) clips will be sent to each Dealer free of charge.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove the radiator grill.

2. Install two (2) clips (between bolt holes A, B & C) at the positions illustrated below.
3. Reinstall the radiator grill.
