S-Sensor

Fig. 20 S-sensor Continuity Test:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove knee protector, then disconnect clock spring connectors (orange and blue).
3. Remove instrument panel, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.
4. Disconnect S sensor connector.
5. Check for continuity between terminals of sensor connectors, Fig. 20. Continuity should exist between terminals B and E, C and D. Continuity should not exist between terminals B and C. Do not connect ohmmeter to harness side connector.
6. If continuity is not as specified, replace S sensor.
