DESCRIPTION





On some vehicles, the front door assist grip may break. This condition is due to inadequate thickness of the assist grip. The breakage occurs from the pulling force used to close the door.

The assist grip has been modified to prevent this condition.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





If the door assist grip breaks, replace it with the parts listed in the Parts Information section of this bulletin.

Removal and installation procedures are outlined in Section S of the applicable Workshop Manual.
