FRONT STRUT NOISE WHILE TURNING
DESCRIPTION
Noise from the front of the car may be noticeable while turning. This may be more pronounced at low speeds and in cold weather.
This is likely caused by dirt accumulation in the top strut mount bushing causing excessive friction.
A groove was added to the front strut bushing to help keep dirt from entering the sliding surface of the bushing. Figure 1.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
Install the new strut bushings according to Workshop Manual procedures in Section R.
NOTE:
Before removing strut assembly, place a reference "Mark" on the strut block-to-inner fender. This will assure original position of wheel alignment when reinstalling the strut.
