HOLD SWITCH
INSPECTION OF OPERATION
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF->ON.
2. Verify that the HOLD indicator is not illuminated. Depress the switch and verify that the HOLD indicator comes ON.
3. If not as specified, check the terminal voltage of the hold switch.

INSPECTION OF VOLTAGE






1. Remove the rear console.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.






3. Check the voltage between terminals A and B.
4. If not correct, go to the next step.

INSPECTION OF CONTINUITY






1. Disconnect the connector.






2. Check continuity between terminals E and F.
3. If not correct, replace the selector lever knob as an assembly.

Replacement






1. Remove the rear console.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Remove the selector lever knob.
4. Install a new selector lever knob.
5. Install the rear console.
