Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Accelerator Pedal And Cable:

1. With throttle completely closed, check that cable has correct amount of free play.

0.040 - 0.120 in (1 - 3 mm)

2. If not, loosen locking nuts and adjust threaded sleeve.
3. Check that throttle opens completely when accelerator pedal is depressed all the way to its stop. If not, or if throttle reaches wide open before pedal reaches the stop, loosen lock nuts and adjust full throttle stop bolt. Lock bolt in place when proper adjustment is obtained.
