Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Remove the front grille.
2. Disconnect the oil cooler hoses.
3. Remove the oil cooler.

INSPECTION





Check the following and repair or replace any faulty parts.
1. Cracks, damage, or oil leakage.
2. Bent fins (repair with a screwdriver).

INSTALLATION





Install the oil cooler and connect the oil cooler hoses, referring to the Installation note.

Installation note:

Install the oil cooler.
Tightening torque: 8-11 N.m (80-110 cm-kg, 69-95 In-lb)

Oil Hoses





1. Align the marks, and slide the oil cooler hoses onto the oil cooler pipes at least 3Omm (1.2 in).
2. Install the hose clamps as shown and tighten them as specified.
3. Verify that the hose clamps do not interfere with any other parts.
