Cylinder Head

Replace cylinder head if any wear or damage is evident. Measure cylinder head distortion. If distortion exceeds .006 inch (.15mm), grind the mating surface. Do not grind off more than .008 inch (.20mm) from cylinder head.
Measure manifold contact surface distortion. If distortion exceeds .006 inch, grind the surface or replace cylinder head.
