DESCRIPTION
Water found in the passenger compartment may be entering through the liner around the heater piping. The problem may be most evident after a heavy rain or snow if the vehicle is driven through standing water. This problem is caused by insufficient sealing by the liner around the heater pipes. Customers experiencing this problem should have a binding agent applied around the heater pipes.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Clean the area around the heater pipes.
2. Apply the rubber binding agent as shown in the illustration.
3. Use a shop vacuum to remove the water from the passenger compartment carpet and matting.
