Compressor HVAC: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery cables.





2. Remove the battery and the battery box.
3. Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.
4. Discharge the refrigeration system.





5. Disconnect the low pressure and high pressure pipes from the compressor.





6. Loosen the locknut and the adjusting bolt. Remove the compressor drive belt.
7. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the compressor.
