Port Air Solenoid Valve

Port Air Solenoid Connector:







1. Connect a voltmeter to the port air solenoid valve "L" terminal and ground.
2. Start the engine and run it at idle speed.
3. Observe the voltmeter reading. It should be below 2.0 volts.
4. Open the throttle valve half way.
5. Observe the voltmeter reading. It should be approx. 12 volts

NOTE: The solenoid valve voltage reading will be a constant below 2.0V (approx.) after the vehicle has accumulated over 20,000 miles.
