DESCRIPTION
A squealing noise may be heard when releasing the clutch (moving the vehicle from a stop or shifting gears). This squeal is caused by mismatched springs in the cushioning plate of the clutch. To prevent squealing, the thickness of the cushioning plate has been increased.

REPAIR PROCEDURES
1. Verify the complaint.
2. If squeaking is present, change the clutch plate and clutch cover.
