Oil Pump Disassembly
Disassemble in order shown in the figure.






Oil Pump Assembly
1. Apply clean engine oil to the oil pump body and a new oil seal.






2. Press the oil seal into the oil pump body.
Protrusion: O-O.7mm {0-0.O27 in}



3. Remove any dirt or other material from the contact surfaces.






4. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to the contact surface of the oil pump.
5. Apply engine oil to a new 0-ring and install it into the pump body.
Caution:
- Do not allow any sealant to get into the oil hole.
- Oil pump must be secured within five minutes after sealant is applied.
- Be careful that the 0-ring does not fall when installing.
6. Apply clean engine oil to the oil seal lip.






7. Install the oil pump.
Tightening torque: 19-25 N.m {1.9-2.6 kgfm, 14-18 ft.lb.}
Bolt A : 40mm {1.57 in}
Bolt B : 25mm {O.98 in}
8. Cut away the portion of the gasket that projects toward the oil pan.
Caution: Do not damage the oil seal.
