Adjusting Throttle Sensor:

1. Disconnect throttle sensor connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter across terminals "IDL" and "E" as shown.
3. Insert 0.006 in (0.15 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever. Meter should show continuity.
4. Insert 0.020 in (0.5 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever. Meter should show no continuity.

If not OK, continue.

5. Loosen sensor mounting screws.
6. Insert 0.004 in (0.1 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever. Turn sensor just until ohmmeter indicates continuity and tighten mounting screws.
7. Re-check with 0.08 in (0.2 mm) feeler gauge and check that there is no continuity.
6. Reconnect electrical connector.
